I have the hardware store in my address book as "hardware store" I try to tell siri "remind me to pick up nails when I arrive at the hardware store" it then replies "when would you like me to remind you ?" It then proceeds to set the location to my home. Even though I have hardware store in my address book and it recognizes the correct spelling.

Anyone else having trouble setting geolocating reminders or am I just using the wrong keywords ?

I have an iPhone 4, so I don't use Siri.

However, I have not been able to figure out a way to set a georeminder for any location other than leaving or arriving either my current location or the location of one of my contacts.

I find this odd. I tried to set a reminder to myself to stop by the local Apple Store when I got about a half mile from the exit I need to take to get to it. I was unable to do it. The best I could do was set the reminder to when I left my house.

The reminders app is a good concept, but could use some significant work in my opinion.

ok i figured it out. here's how the command goes.

"remind me when I go to the hardware store."

it then proceeds to ask me to pick one of the 3 addresses I have, then it asks what I want to be reminded of.

I haven't tried it out to see if the location was set correctly, but it all looks good.

Here is a nice site also.

I think you can only set geolocating reminders for addresses in your address book.
