I've noticed some odd behavior on my phone with Siri suggestions, when I see them in spotlight or in shortcuts, it will suggest random things that I have done one time in the past day or so. Meaning in Shortcuts it will display a specific text I sent to my fiancé and suggest I add a shortcut for it. Also News will show random specific News articles I've tapped on in the past few days, and Notes will suggest specific notes I created in the past week.

What is the point of this? Sending a message to a specific person I text a lot makes sense, but not sending them a random one off message that was part of a thread. Anyone else seeing similar behavior? Any way to train it to not do it? Basically I'm wondering why it is suggesting actions based on the actual message content, which to me seems like it would never be useful in any context.

Those of us who’ve been on the beta of iOS 12 have noticed that for months. It makes some sense for things like an alarm. It makes almost no sense for one off text messages.

Same here, I have a lot of siri shortcuts that makes no sense at all and seems totally random. To my knowledge the only way to prevent this is disable shortcuts for each app ONE BY ONE
