I had posted a thread over in the iOS 10 forum about how Siri sounds more human like. I just installed macOS Sierra and Siri sounds awful! I wonder why they're using the old robotic Siri voice in macOS while on iOS10, she sounds so human like.

Anybody else noticing this? Ask Siri to laugh on both macOS and on iOS. The difference is like night and day!

It feels half baked for sure.

The first time invoking Siri after upgrading to the 10.12, it caused a kernel panic.

On my subsequent tries, I noticed that it's a lot less reliable at understanding a command. It has nothing to do with my mic since it's throwing the words I am saying on the screen correctly. I will say something like "Play the sweater song by Weezer" and it will start playing Usher or some random crap.

I'm disabling this for now. The iOS version is considerably better and more stable.

I also noticed how it sounds much more robotic on macOS. I think it is a larger difference in the non-American English accents.
