I've been using Sierra for over a week now and Siri was working fine but now it won't work. I tried deactivating and turning it on again and it still won't work. I also restarted it several times. The only thing I can think of is that I created a guest account since. Anyone having this issue?

If you 're using it over a week it means that you are in a GM or a beta version. Siri uses your internet connection to reach apple servers. You need to update to the latest version (official MacOS Sierra, not GM). I suppose you can't connect to the apple servers through the beta version, at least not right now.

Thanks... I am using the beta version but was unsure if I needed to switch over to the official version.
[doublepost=1474417903][/doublepost]Update: I reinstalled Sierra and Siri still isn't working!

Update 2: Now I discovered while I do receive pop up notifications the notification center does not open either. It looks like I'll be doing a clean install and backing up from time capsule. What a mess.

Update 3: Problem solved. I had to open Terminal and re-enable the notification system and Siri works as well.
