Running iOS 13.2 (17B068e) on my iPhone 11 Pro and 2019 Honda HR-V. Since updating the iOS, I can no longer have Siri read or take dictations for iMessages? I have rebooted my phone to no avail. It seems to pair up fine in every other way. I get notices on the screen if a new text comes in. I can depress the button my steering column to call Siri and Siri icon comes onto the screen but she reads nothing and seems not to be ready to take dictation from me. Any suggestions?

I did this, and then switched back to US female Siri, and it seems to be working for me now. Maybe give that a shot!

I tried to switch back to American Siri without success. Interestingly, the successfully sent messages from the car now say in grey font "Sent with Siri"‽‽‽ Has anyone seen that before? It's new to me.

I am now having an issue with Siri sending messages on some but not all of my HomePods with the British voice. One of them in my kitchen will not under any circumstance send a message after uttering Hey Siri.

Ah, damn. Looks like I'm going with Australian Siri until next beta.
Are you saying that British Siri stopped working? BTW, on one of my HomePods, I cannot get Siri to send a message (irrespective if it's American voice or British voice) though she will do so on the others. All my HomePods are updated to AudioOS 12.4 too. Any guess when we will get AudioOS 13?

No, I switched from US to UK when I first noticed the problem. Then switched back to US out of curiosity, and it started working properly. As the user above pointed out, it only works temporarily-- which for me has proven to be the case. US Siri is no longer working again.

I am switching to AUS simply because I prefer that accent, if I have to use a non-US one! Lol

No idea on AudioOS. I don't own a HomePod personally.
