So... Trying to convert from litres into pints, and I discover the information Siri provides uses US volume measures, rather than UK (aka Imperial). As an American company, it's not entirely surprising, but this is the kind of non-inclusive behaviour I expect from Micro$haft, not from Apple.
Rant over - the questions are...
Has anyone else noticed this issue?
Is there a setting I can change to alter the default to Imperial?
If you ask Siri to convert to or from "UK" pints or fluid ounces, or even "Imperial", then she will happily provide the appropriate answer, albeit using "Wolfram Alpha" rather than "calculator". It's interesting, because until I noticed the US/UK difference, I hadn't noticed that she credits the calculator application for the information on a conversion of weights and measures!?
To be fair, Siri dutifully provides the appropriate information when asked, but does not distinguish between the two systems unless you specifically ask her to do so.
