A few days ago I updated my iPhone SE to iOS 13. Ever since, the battery has been draining in just a few hours of light use.

I checked the Battery report under Settings, and it shows that Siri was responsible for about 50 percent of battery usage. I've always kept Siri turned off, and confirmed that it's still off in my Settings.

Not sure what's going on.

Siri doesnt just refer to the voice assistant, but also to various machine learning functions on the device.

50% is a very high percentage. Give it a few days and see if it evens out. there is a lot of indexing that goes on for the first day or so.

Thanks. I'll do that. I did notice that the Overcast podcast app, which I use frequently, seemed to be accessing Siri. Perhaps that is the problem.
