I know longer see the option to change the volume of Siri's dictation volume in maps. Is this yet another bug in iOS 15 or has it moved to somewhere that I cannot find? It's set way too loud by default and hope someone can help let me know where to change the setting and lower it! Thanks!

I haven't figured this out yet either. In my car with CarPlay Maps, Siri blasts at almost twice the volume until I turn it way back down and then up to the level that's comfortable.

What's odd is that using Settings search, Navigation Voice Volume comes up as Maps > Driving & Navigation. Tapping on it though doesn't go to that setting.

Noticed this too plus another (bug?) thing: Now when I am listening to the FM-HD radio in my car - 2021 Honda CRV Hybrid - Siri will speak the map directions to me on TOP of the radio but it fails to lower the radio sound volume. So i cannot really hear siri over the radio if the radio is playing a loud part of music or talk. I *think* this used to work better. I seem to recall that it would diminish the radio sound if Siri was talking. But i cannot remember if that was/is a Honda head-unit Carplay feature or if something about ios15 is causing it or... what.

Yeah, the Spoken Directions options seem lacking, although I hadn't used them before iOS 15 because CarPlay is new to me. There's a toggle for Directions on Radio but the description leaves me wondering what the heck it means.

Yep another mental decision by some clueless manager at Apple. My car doesn’t have CarPlay so it routes audio via normal Bluetooth and for me the spoken audio is now too quiet.
