Guys, could you share what commands do you use for Siri ? Any useful ideas?

I run about 3 miles each day. During my runs I sometimes make a turn and go down a road just to see where it leads, but that sometimes results in getting lost. I really don't mind doing this because I can simply open my iPhone and ask Siri "show me how to get home". Siri responds with a map and turn-by-turn directions that lead right to my front door.

I also use Siri to find restaurants and coffee houses, Siri always responds with a map and points of interest: "Where is the nearest Starbucks?", "Where is the nearest Bank of America ATM?"

This is a pretty good thread idea. I don't use Siri much now, but I think I'll be using it way more now that I'll be able to speak with her on my Mac. I'm always wondering what else I can ask her.

I mostly use Siri to play my music, or ask what song that is playing on the radio. On occasion, I'll get directions.

On the Mac, I'm not sure how much I'll use it, tbh.

I'm not knocking apple for putting it on the Mac, in fact, I'd say they're about 3 years late in adopting this for its desktop OS.

I'm expecting to use it as a voice recorder.

Hopefully, some of the apps that I use on the iPhone can be also created on the Mac.

Actually, I could probably record on the AW and just use the universal copy and paste on the Mac.

It gives me more flexibility.

Is there a better way to close the Siri window that just pressing on that tiny "X"? Clicking either the dock icon, menu bar icon, custom command (option + command for me) and swiping to the right (like with notifications) does nothing to close her window.

Pressing Escape dismisses the window.

I think one of the best feature could be the HomeKit implementation on macOS and thus - to have "Hey Siri" for automatically HomeKit control (as on iPhone and watch ).

So she will be able to control HomeKit on the Mac then? I must've missed that! That's great though. My MacBook Pro is usually the device I have in my lap at home, so being able to control HomeKit from there will be fantastic.

I use Siri to remind me to do stuff at home, like, remind me in 10 mins to turn off the dryer, remind me to check mail at 6pm and so on.. Works nicely

Yep. This is my "wish" as of today in macOS DP1 - no such Homekit function . But hope Apple will add it (similar to iPad - in iOS10 they added a homekit service active as it is in Apple TV)
