Hi there, is there any way I can disable Siri because He/She/It is getting right up my nose and really like my iPhone 5s. I realise Siri is part of the Base Program and cannot be deleted and I feel as if I could strangle him! Just to be able to stop it working would be wonderful.

Thanking you in anticipation, regards from Keith in Derby.

Yes, you can turn off Siri. Go to Settings > Siri & Search. Tap any of the settings that are green, which means they’re turned on, so that they turn white, which means off.

You may be on an older version of the iOS operating system, so the name of the Siri setting might be slightly different, but you will see something in Settings that’s for Siri where you can disable it.

Hello WildSky, many thanks for your reply. I have done that which you suggested and now I hope I have scuppered him/her/it.

Many thanks from Keith in Derby.
