I am totally frickin baffled by iWeb sometimes (well most of the time). Can someone visit the link above and screen shot what you see and let me know what browser you used please.

There are 2 blocks of text that have the exact same properties i.e. linespacing, type size etc the only difference is the colour but the top text box seems to load with much smaller line spacing and its confusing the hell out of me.

Many of the links dont work as its a work in progress but if anyone could tell me how the 'library' page appears once you visit it and click on an image. I find what it does next is a pile of **** but I can't stop iWeb from creating that crap heap of a slideshow. In older versions of iWeb you got a larger image and thats it (which is what I'm after) now you get a larger image and the most butt ugly slideshow arrangement that you have absolutely no control over.

Thanks guys :)

The main page in Firefox 2.0.0.14 running on Tiger 10.4.10.

There is not working link for the library page, so I couldn't visit that one.

EDIT: Looking again...there are links. It appears that the icons in the different colors boxes aren't linked, though, so you have to click to the left or right of the icons, but still inside the colored boxes. You'll probably want to fix that.

Here's what I'm getting:

Thanks for the response. The library link is active you just need to click on the pink bit away from the magnifying glass until I sort it (i forgot to mention  ).

Regarding the text it looks much better on yours which boggles my mind even further because its my machine that made it and it looks better on your machine once uploaded.

Attached is what I get on mine. It looks brilliant in iWeb though.

This is in iWeb. Note the correct and even spacing of the type in the main bit.

What gives? Even on yours the linespacing in the upper box is slightly out.

Regarding the second (library) page how ***** does that look once you click on an image? Is there anyway I can stop it doing that in iweb? I've used a photo page so I can just drop images in and it auto arranges them. But when you click on the images it forces you to view a larger image in that horribly design slideshow thing.

Happy to help out. By the way, I've seen your portfolio before (in either your signature or in one of the many iWeb threads) and you do good work. Rather similar to my own style, but you get to do far more of the work I wish I were doing. :)

Thanks mate. To be honest a lot of my portfolio work is stuff I've done for myself. My commercial work is a lot more editorial related and not so much brand id etc. Also clients always want a say in how stuff looks and ultimately end up ruining something that could look great so not much of my commercial stuff is in my portfolio. Although I am trying to change that.

library page doesn't work with firefox 3. Im using nightly (080501), probably due to the way iweb generates javascript. Firefox 3 updated javascript to ver 1.8, so before iWeb gets update, it won't be compatible with firefox 3

Just as a note, if you want to see what a web site looks like from any browser check out BrowserShots or similar sites that offer such services. You won't be able to interact with it, but you'll at least see what it looks like.
