I was just searching for a 2g iPod touch case, when i seen a couple dozen cases for a "3g" iPod touch.

Maybe the rumors of the technical difficulties of these new iPod touches were true, and Apple possibly had to settle and release these minor (very minor) upgrades to the iPod touch. Its just weird that so many websites are carying, and selling these 3g ipod touch cases with camera holesin em...maybe the well awaited 3g touches will be released after those holidays.
