sites not loading on iPhone, but do on MBP and iPad

Hi there, updated to 14.7.1 last night, but that could be co-incidence...

Some websites on my iPhone X are not loading - says a connection with the server can't be made. It's not all sites, but the one that stands out is bbc.co.uk (I am in the UK). Same site loads perfectly on my MacBook, and iPad (which is running 14.6).

Same thing is happening with my Son's iPhone 8 (not sure if he's upgraded to 14.7.1 yet).

Have checked VPN settings, and made sure the DNS is set to Automatic, rebooted, cleared cache etc. Tried Firefox and same issues there. Also not able not log into the My BT app, but not sure if this is coincidence or not.

Anyone got any idea what might be causing this?

SOLUTION*: rebooted the router 🙄

*am a tad embarrassed... thought of deleting the post but thought I'd add a solution just incase somebody else out there has as much of a dunce day as I'm clearly having 😂

You know what? We all have those moments so don't be embarrassed. Rebooting the router wouldn't have occurred to me either. Glad you got it resolved.

I mean tbf, given they were working fine on your macbook and iPad, the router being the issue wouldn't have been my first thought either.
