I have my desktop dark all the time with large icons but every time I create a new background or make a change it goes back to light background and small fonts. This seems annoying. Is it a bug or on purpose?

Size keeps reverting back

Last two betas of 18.0 have done that for me on the install, but not when changing the wallpaper. A new wallpaper pair will reset back to default icons/size though. Hope it gets addressed to make those choices a little more sticky.
