Hi all!

I just preordered an iPad via Apples German online store, to delivery at my sisters (she lives in Germany, I live in Denmark).

The plan is to have her ship the iPad to me, when it arrives at her place. However, when trying to find out how much it will cost to ship the package to me, all the delivery companies are asking me the same question:

How big is the package, and how much does it weigh?

So the question to you, my fellow macrumors forum members is:

What was the dimensions on your package when it arrived (Height, Width and Depth), and how much did it weigh?

I ordered an iPad + a dock + the official apple case. If you by any chance ordered the same combo and had it delivered, then it would be great if you could chime in aswell with the above details.

Also, if you ordered accessories with your iPad, did they then get shipped in one big box with everything in it? Or did the accessories get shipped in their own box(es)?

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance!

My iPad was weighed at 1.9 from UPS when I imported it from the US.

Doesn't mention size, but that really depends on the box and the packaging around the boxes. You can get the size of the iPad from apples website and the box the iPad is in is only a tiny amount bigger than the iPad.

Hope this helps.

The boxes itself are quite small. The shipping box may be larger though. You can get your sister to take everything out and repackage it into one box, and ship it to you to save shipping costs.

Mine came directly from China via FedEx. The box is marked as weighing 1.5 kg. If it matters, the exterior dimensions of the shipping box are 11 x 9.5 x 4 inches. (Sorry, didn't convert to metric.)
