Hello, I have the current version of SBP on my 2009 i7 imac running Lion. I am having real issues with the brushes in the program. There is significant lag on the brushs. I am using a wacom 4 tablet running all the latest software and updates. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled. What could be the problem?

Wacom just released a new driver on Sept 13, do you have that one?

I've heard reports from other Wacom essential apps like ZBrush of the exact same issue.

Not sure. I will take a look when I get home. It's really frustrating to use this program.

So installed the new drivers and im still getting the slow performance. Does anyone here use sketchbook pro with the same set up?

So I did a test and loaded snow leopard back onto my 2010 air and I do not have any of the problems I mentioned above when the canvas is rotated. Looks like its a lion issue...

I use it on the Mac Pro in my sig and I've used it on my Macbook Air (not sure if its in my sig but its the 2.13 Ghz model w/ 4 gigs of ram (2010).

I haven't ran into issues with running Sketchbook Pro on either of them, although honestly I doodle in SBP and don't use it heavily.

My real issue is when I rotate the canvas. it all goes down hill from there. Even just zooming in and out seams laggy. I hate the autodesk products on the mac. Not one of them has run smooth for me.

Could someone run a test with and see if they get the slow performance on a Mac pro with a better Graphics card then my 2009 imac. I need to fix this issue and I dont know what to do. I am now down to thinking this is a hardware problem.

Been running SBP on my 2010 air with no problem. As soon as I plug it into the monitor I get choppy performance. I get the same problem on my iMac. I am wondering if its because of the large screen res? Should I upgrade my iMac to say mac pro? I don't really want to work on a small 13" screen, kind of defeats the purpose of the iMac... :(
