In a Mac box
I have a lot of skins for Source on my windows account but I don't know where to put the files for Mac. There's also no tutorials online really because its so new. Anybody know where to put the files for skins?

OK figured it where the damn steamapps folder is finally. Basically the same thing as on PC but for those who don't know:

1) Un-RAR the file (i use stuffit expander)

2) Copy all folders (model, materials, scripts, sound) to:

Macintosh HD/Users/(User)/Library/Application Support/Steam/Steam Apps/(Steam ID)/counter-strike source/cstrike/

3) Instead of replacing like you do in windows, you may need to rename the folders i.e. models 1, models 2, etc. I tried replacing and it actually completely replaces the folder not just adding to it like in windows.

4) Enjoy!

I'm having trouble gettin anything to work. Do i simply just copy and paste or do i have to create the folders my self? please help!

no when you add the new folders rename them because if you replace it will just overwrite the last skin you put in there. Annoying yes but just have to do it

i have renamed the files for skins by putting numbers after them but because of that they don't seem to work
