In 2017, Apple introduced two iPhone model lines in the same year. The iPhone 8/8 Plus came out in September and then the iPhone X came out a couple of months later. If they did something similar this year, the iPhone 14 line would still come out in September followed by an iPhone XV (or 15) in November. It could happen but I think there would've been more rumors and discussions about it by now.

The 15th iPhone anniversary is not a particularly important milestone so I don’t think they’ll do anything special until the 20th iPhone anniversary in 2027.

They didn’t do anything for the 5th iPhone anniversary. :p

Only big thing was iPhone 5 which brought a larger screen which was long overdue.

Apple only needs to pull an iPhone 8 if there aren't enough features. The 14 Pro has plenty including a form factor change. The regular 14 is enough due to introduction of 6.7-inch.
