Every time I search in Safari for a song, book or movie title, the search returns an ad/buy caption for the item on the iTunes store at the top of the screen. This is incredibly annoying as I generally do not want to buy it.

I have gone through all the settings on the phone and can't see a way to turn this feature/annoyance off.

There are dozens of ad blockers available but none seem to explicitly mention being able to block this.

Does anyone know of a setting to shut this off or suggest an ad blocker that will?

Thanks

It's not an ad, it's a feature called safari suggestions. You can turn it off under settings>safari

It is useful if you want to purchase it from iTunes/iBooks/AppStore. Otherwise, I can see the annoyance but you can still search perfectly fine with the feature turned on.

Thanks very much, that works!
