Skype Badge alerts while in backgrounder

Is there no way badge alerts can function while skype is in backgrounder?
As skype has no alert sound when u receive a instant message

One workaround is to use Skype with Fring which now has push notification so even when you close the app it can still notify you of any Skype messages or Skype calls.

ok i'll give fring another shot for push, does it keep you logged in 24/7 unless you select logout?

I believe so but haven't tried it myself.

I tried fring and IM+ Both are unreliable when it comes to pushing skype instant message alerts.

Just hope skype bring push out soon for there app
