I installed skype for business. It launches automatically on boot up, even if it wasn't running before shutdown.

How do I prevent it from launching on startup? ("Open at Login" is unchecked.)

Thanks.

check the login items in system preferences>Users & Groups. check skype's own preferences; is it set to open at login?

Thanks for the reply.

The only apps I see in there under "login items" are iTunesHelper and Dropbox (and both are unchecked).

This is not regular Skype, but Skype for Business. I don't see such an option, when I bring up preferences. I did check all of the tabs in the attached image.

right, sorry. is there an option in the Contacts list? a gear icon? there should be an option to start the app when you login... which you could uncheck.

Is it the option listed as "open" in the attached image? If not, I can't seem to find anything else.
