My daughter has a new Macbook with built in video but the video camera is not automatically recognised when she uses Skype for Mac. I am holding a Skype session and she cannot see my video stream which works perfectly Ok when I Skype to other XP users. Does anyone have any idea how to configure Skype on a Mac so that the video from an XP client is connected. Note the audio works Ok except that there is a abnormal level of feedback from the Mac Skpe client.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for your swift reply. Yes she downloaded Skype for Mac 1.5 today. I guess i am at a disadvantage as i cannot see her config options and I am not too familiar wit th Mac client. I presume the Beta version is similar to the Xp Beta which works fine ?? She is in Canada and i am in England so it would be nice to fix this !

OK, if she's installed Skype for Mac 1.5, then that is the problem. That version does not support video, only audio. Follow the link I provided in the first post to get to the beta video version. It might be buggy (I've not heard any reports, mind you), but it's the only option for Skype Video at the moment.

Edit: There is evidently an even newer version out here (thanks bousozoku from another thread).
