Skype + iPhone App

My friend has made a mock-up of Skype on the iPhone but is too embarrassed to post incase he gets flamed or demeened (LOL). I personally like it, it's quite basic but he didn't want to do it on his account so i'm doing it.

"The culture of design is criticism." How does he expect to get better if he isn't willing to stand up to the critiques and criticism that people give. It's what pushes and drives us. He needs to stand up for his designs and stand behind his work.

That been said, looks good.

i give him an "A" for effort, but i am going to give a critique.

The Skype logo is too large. it should be smaller.

The iPhone doesn't use the same drop down menu graphics as normal OS X so he should probably find a picture of that or create it himself.

The Glossy buttons at the bottom need a little more contrast between the words and the color. Maybe just back down the gloss effect a little.

I myself am working on what i call "iPhotoshop" mockup for the iPhone. Just something that started out as fun, and has really become a challenge to think out.
