Skype messages in notifications

Is there a way to show skype messages appear in notification, I seem to always miss those messages because I can never seem to find a way to show notifications.

Have you looked in the Notifications section of Settings?

Yeah Skype is enabled in notifications, but I suppose it only shows calls and history of calls. There isn't anything about messages.

This really is lame. No file transfers in the iphone app and now not even full notifications for all the services in the app.

Sure hope someone will show me the error of my ways.

Right, Update. Skype messages now appear when I get one, but when I open the notification center, I don't see it. It simply appears at the top and after it disappears if missed it, I wouldn't know I received one. The now on the Skype icon it shows how many unread messages. What is weird though is that it just started doing that out of the blue. I didn't enable anything new. Hmmm. Sure hope it stays that way.
