Hi,

I'm a little confused about the distinction between the two...
I'd like to buy as monthly plan from one of these services so I can make free wifi calls from my iphone but I'm not sure if I need both, or if they are the same thing??

Any clues?
Thanks,
Ari

I use Skype quite a bit...seems the other service/app does the same...you wouldn't need both to make VOIP calls...

With Skype you can:

1) Call other Skype users for free

2) Call landlines or mobile phones from Skype with a reduced rate per minute or an unlimited plan (depending on what you pay for on your Skype account)

3) I believe it works over Wi-Fi only unless some of the jailbreaking apps let you use Skype over the cell phone connection

Cheers.

I can't wait to see if Skype does something with Push so that we can get call notifications without having to have Skype open .....
