Skype over 3G now - Backgrounder soon.

With the inevitable update to skype allowing calls over 3G finally here, are any iPad users reconsidering their stance on having an iPhone and an iPad?

I got really excited when I saw the download allowing 3G calls. Using google-voice and skype with a bluetooth ear-piece seems very realistic. Thoughts?

I will be getting rid of my iPhone plan come July when my contract is up and as you say switch entirely over to Skype and Google voice - IPEVO makes some great Skype phones that I own.

I don't have an iPhone yet, but I'm thinking about getting one when it comes out on Verizon. I don't think I'll carry around my iPad at all the time because it isn't as small or light as a phone.
