Skype stopped sending messages

Hello community,

Since today I noticed Skype's strange behavior. It connects fine but wouldn't show me who's online and who's "away" etc. And if I send a message to somebody then it would stay in "sending" state eternally. It's Skype v8.49.0.49 on Mavericks. I know I could use Skype via browser but I'd hate it.

Does anyone else have the same problem? It was working fine just a couple of days ago. I would really appreciate your assistance.

Sorry but now it's working again the way it should. Guess something had happened on their side
