SL Server on VMWare, perfect except no sound

I recently obtained a copy of Mac OS X 10.6 Server and installed in VMWare Fusion 3 on my MacBook Pro. I use the VM to test shareware /freeware. The SL Server VM runs as speedy as natively, much fast than the Windows 7 VM. The only problem is that, there is no sound output device on it. And I can't hear any sound... How to solve that?

Is sound enabled in the vm configuration? I remember its disabled on default for OSX guests

ABSOLUTELY, I HAVE TURNED IT ON. SO I WAS CONFUSED.
