Might be a slim chance, but does anyone happen to have a Slate VRS8 and a Mac with an M1? Slate is being pretty tight lipped (probably too early for them to say).

Hoping the off chance someone here might have one of these units and can confirm any compatibility or incompatibility.

Hey I’ve got a Slate VRS8 when I receive either my new MacBook Pro M1 or Mac Mini M1 I’ll let you know. As of now those machines are both backordered for me though.

Thanks! I ended up sending my VRS8 back and getting an Apollo X4 because of some hissing issues with my Macs. I’d still be curious to hear how it performs

I have a VRS8 and a MBA M1 and it is not compatible. I emailed them and it sounded like they probably won't be able to support it because of a component being only Intel compatible. Hopefully they can figure a way to make it work, especially since other thunderbolt audio interfaces are compatible.

This is what happens when you use completely outdated chipsets and let some Chinese backyard programmer make the driver instead of paying the original developer...

Overprized garbage... it was already death on the release date...
