Any thoughts on the Sleep Cycle app? Thinking about trying it out. I understand that you have to leave your iPhone unlocked and keep the app running in the foreground the whole night. Any issue with doing this?

it's ok. I wish that it was more automated or at least integrated with Siri so that I can turn it on / off with my voice.

I'm usually half asleep when I start the app. and it's counter-productive to have to open the app, answer their 10 or so questions about your day, and finally activate sleep monitoring on the 3rd screen before I go to sleep.

you're supposed to not look at your phone before bed as that demands your attention and wakes you up.

with Siri integration, I could connect Sleep Cycle to a scene such as my current "siri good night" that turns off the lights and turns down the temperature so that I can sleep better. Sleep Cycle would activate then as well.

in the morning, I could say "Siri good morning" turn on lights, turn up temperature, and stop Sleep Cycle's sleep tracking.

The app doesn't require being kept open and in the foreground any more.

I rather like using it as my alarm app. I was hoping it would have better Hue integration, but it's too primitive for my use. The sleep tracking and smart fade in of the alarm is really good, though.
