sleep mode/lid closed question

is there any setting you can change to have a mbp not go into sleep mode when the lid is closed so transmission can still download a torrent?
 
No. Just make your mac sleep its screen. Torrents require harddrive, cpu and internet to be on. Which is basically your whole computer.
