I’m having an issue with my 2017 MacBook being prevented from going to sleep by Address Book syncing. I’m at a loss on how to turn it off.
I’ve tried numerous troubleshooting steps but the syncing process keeps popping back up in Terminal. I use iCloud contacts, and I’ve tried turning iCloud contacts on an off. I also removed my iCloud account and re added it. I also removed my google account as well.
Funny thing is even with my iCloud account and google account completely removed, AddressSourceSync still shows up in terminal preventing sleep.
I’ve also tried the library/Application Support/Address book steps. When deleting the Address Book folder, the contacts application stops responding and doesn’t open. I have to force quit and drag the folder back for contacts to work again. I’ve also deleted the cache folder as well.
Nothing seems to stop the process from popping back up in Terminal preventing my MacBook from sleeping. Help!
