It worked fine the first week i got iOS 10 or so. Then i disabled the whole thing because i was on vacation and ever since i enabled it again i do not get a notification when it is time to go to bed. However it still wakes me on time every day. Anyone else?

I noticed the sleep reminder only works if my phone is unlocked and I'm using the phone. When phone is locked I don't get the notification.

Oh yeah... I completely forgot I used to get the sleep reminders. I haven't seen them for a while.

I installed iOS 10 on the day of public release and I have only gotten the reminder maybe like 3-5 times in total.

I just decided to ditch my regular alarm clock for this, got it all set up and received the notification the first day and never again.

I think it only shows up when your phone isn't on mute. I've heard the "it's time to sleep" tone when it's not mute in addition to the notification on my lock screen. But when my phone is on mute, I do not receive either one.

It works randomly. Usually when my phone is unlocked at the time, but I've also received alerts on my Apple Watch in the past. Very unreliable except for waking up. Even so I don't trust it and have backup alarms.

I would have guessed that it wouldn't send the reminder if you're not using your phone so as to not wake you up if you were already sleeping/drifting off (early beta actually woke me up once with one of these reminders). If your phone screen is on at the time you have set for the alert for then it's safe for iOS to assume that you're still awake and need a reminder.

It has always woken me up. I just sometimes don't get the reminder the night before that it's time to sleep.

I use the sleep reminder for weekends when a wakeup time is not critical. Why? It still have bugs and I don't trust it to function as a basic alarm clock.

This morning the function woke me up as set but shows a reminder after I have stopped the alarm on screen that have options "I will go to sleep now". If this is right by design then the going to bed time reminder should have "I will go up now". Just sloppy programing.
