Anyone has issues with Sleep / Reboot / Shutdown of Windows in Macbook? I have such issues everytime i reboot , shutdown or sleep and goto Windows again (it works fine if I goto Mac and then come to Windows).

Issues - My mouse (trackpad) will move but won't click; My keyboard won't work. Only way is to reboot and again, goto Mac and then to Windows.

It is a POS, simple as that.

I've spent ALL DAY trying to do the basic first updates to Vista on an iMac. I really, really want to throw this thing in the trash.

Vista is a Beta isnt it? why would you expect a beta, then a windows one to work on a Mac? Wait until they finish making Vista before expecting it to work is my 2 cents.

its not a "mac" its a laptop/computer that can run MacOS X, and Windows or its counterparts.

Um, aren't you running it on your MacBook? If so, then it is on a Mac. Apple's BETA of bootcamp only supports XP. So, if you put Vista on there which is a BETA OS from Microsoft, you are just asking for problems. Wait till vista is final, and Bootcamp is final, and you won't have problems.

Vista, or the iMac? If it's Vista, I don't blame you, but try to find the latest version. I hear it sucks less. If it's the iMac, seriously? You're trying to run unsupported beta software on beta software, and on a Rev. A machine no less, and you're frustrated it might not be working right? If you get pissed off that easily about it, might I suggest you not be a beta tester. ;)

Now if 10.4 was running poorly, then I'd say you had justification.

Got everything working fine.

There appears to be some error in the way the Windows driver take shared RAM for use with the x1600. If you do a PRAM reset, it works fine (which mine did).

As for the whole "BootCamp only supports XP" - well, that kinda doesn't matter.

Why? Because Vista doesn't need the screwed up EFI software partition. Technically, it works fine, has is not affected by the "beta" status of Boot Camp at all.
