Hi Everyone!

I just started having a problem with my G5 power mac. It all seems to have started after the last Apple security fix that forced a reboot. (Somthing has changed since that reboot, not sure if the security fix or something else.)

So, when my Mac goes to sleep on its own it eventually shuts down and then I have to restart. When I put it into sleep mode all of the applications quit.

Any body have any clue as to what is causing this or what I should do about it (other then not put my Mac to sleep.)

Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Main and Safari are the apps that I have used since the upgrade that are doing it.

I ran repair permissions and the problem stopped after that. I am not 100% if that fixed the problem or if I needed to reboot a couple of time to get some kink worked our or what.

I am so happy it is back it its wonderful self. I work for a computer company and fix computer problems all day long. I so love my Mac. It just works.
