Anyone tried sleeping with active noise cancelation on? they seem like a perfect sleeping accessory when you want peace and quite.

I have tried it, but eventually i take them out because i sleep on my side. I like those "sleep buds" from bose but i heard they are fault. I have been dying for a good wireless earpiece for sleeping.

I tried the Bose sleepbuds for two weeks while I was away in a noisy environment. They worked really well and I didn't have a problem with them.

Bose have since discontinued the product and offered refunds, so I am guessing some kind of health related issue has caused them to take this action, rather than a fault with the product.

As for sleeping with AirPods, why would you want to do that? Sounds dangerous and bad for your ears as they are not designed for sleep, like the sleepbuds.

I wear them while sleeping because I listen to hypnosis tracks for relaxation. My complaint is that the battery is dead in about 3 hours. When the battery is low I get a beep notification that they shut off which ends up waking me.

Won't the "battery low" warning wake you up?

I would think simple earplugs would be better. That's what I use in noisy environments.

I’ve laid down with them and they’re kinda hard if you’re a side sleeper.

I slept with earplugs in the dorms back in the day. Worked great and you can get a big can of them for cheap and toss them when they get gross. The ones that expand are great because they don’t put much pressure if you get the right size. I would also sleep with an eye mask. I crammed all my classes into two days most semesters and would sleep late the other days. Also my roommate’s girlfriend basically lived in our dorm so yeah…
