Just wondering if anyone knows how much of an improvement I can expect from dual 7300GT's in SLI v just one running games like Flight Simulator X in Windows. Worth the $150?

Mac Pros currently do not support SLI so if you want a better graphics card that works in both Windows and OS X get the x1900xt

I run a pair of overclocked 7300GTs in SLI and the performance is great imo. I don't have Flight Simulator X so I can't tell you how that will run. I have all of the 3DMarks, Half Life 2, Farcry, Doom 3, Quake 4 and the Sims 2. If you want any specific benchmarks at specific settings let me know.

As it is I run all of my games at 2560x1600, usually with no antialiasing (although at this res its not really noticeable) and games are smooth enough although are not perfect in all games. But then 2560x1600 is a stupendously high resolution after all!

The last flight sim was really CPU dependant. Top graphics cards would run the game at similar frame rates over all resolutions. On my old Dell laptop with a 1920x1200 screen I ran it full screen at the same speed as 800x600.
