Is it my misperception, or has “Slide to Type” indeed become less accurate since iOS 16?

I use it all the time and I can’t say I’ve noticed any changes.

It sucks! I can’t even slide AirPods right unless I precisely go over each letter.
And don’t even get me started on the autocorrect. It often changes the prior words already typed in and now I gotta proofread every sentence after it’s typed. I don’t know which bunch of idiots designed this thing.
