Im doing some custom modding of the unlock screen of my iPhone.

I SSH'd the image into the customize folder, and now when I use it it pushes the Slide to Unlock text over. I know its is supposed to be 71 pixels wide, but my image is 206 pixels wide.

Before I go digging through every single file on my iPhone, does anyone know where I can find the image (I think its an image) that says slide to unlock so that I can edit it and just make it transparent? It dissapears as you drag the image across the screen, and has that highlight bar that slides under it, so it might be a bit more advanced than one image.

Where should I start?

Here is a picture of what I have now.

Thanks!

"Slide to unlock" is text, there is no file you can edit on the phone to change it. However, you can upload a .plist file to change all text on the phone. Go to hacktheiphone.com

Ok, Ill post over there.

Thanks!

<sigh> Dont post, LOOK over there! lol

Since I am not on the iPhone I can do some work for you!

Go here:

http://www.hacktheiphone.com/iphone_downloads.html

And download "SpringBoard.strings"

Place it EXACTLY where it says. You can see all the things you can edit as text.

NOTE: When you install the file, you will NOT be replacing an existing one! Your adding this file and the OS will see it.

Customise.app just came out with an update, and in it you can edit the SpringBoard Strings, so I don't have to do anything by hand!

Thanks for the help though,
