Hello everyone,

My relative has an M1 iPad Pro 11” and it has become slightly bent. He swears he didn’t do anything special to bend it—just normal use. I’ve seen videos and posts from other people claiming that these iPads are pretty easy to bend, so I’m wondering:

1. Is this really his fault, or are these iPads just prone to bending over time with regular use?

2. I also read in this article:Slight Bend in iPad Pro Still Good? What to Do? that a bent iPad could potentially be dangerous if it affects the battery. Is this something to be worried about, or is it usually fine as long as everything still works?

It still functions fine for now, but I’m trying to figure out if it’s something we should be concerned about or if should just keep using it as is. Any advice or other experiences would be very appreciated!

In theory it could be dangerously. If the battery swells definitely consider it a danger.

That said I’ve used a very bent iPad Pro 12.9” A12X for 5 years no issues. I sat on it once so definitely my fault that one
