slightly dimmed border around wallpaper...

just installed sonoma on my mini (all good!), but just curious about why this is happening (feel like there's a setting i need to change).

i randomly get a narrow, slightly dimmed border around the edge of my screen (ie when waking my mac). clicking on the desktop makes it go away. any ideas, anyone?

Hi, Go to System Settings/Desktop & Dock/Click wallpaper to show desktop items. Change setting from Always to Only in Stage Manager.

That means you entered the "show desktop" Mission Control mode.
