Has anyone noticed lately that anything connected to Apple has been slow? App Store extremely slow to check for updates or even load the store (30 seconds+) Apple Music simply searching the online store for songs (10 seconds+) loading new card in ApplePay (15 seconds+). I’m on 14.6 RC 2 on one iPhone 12 Pro Max and my other iPhone 12 Pro is on 14.5.1. It has been like this on both devices for quiet sometime.

Also experiencing this on AppleTV when I go to stream a series I bought in iTunes it takes about 15 seconds to load the episodes I purchased. Just sits there with the name of the series and a buffering wheel.

iPhones both on Wifi and LTE and issues present and AppleTV is on a wired connection to gigabit internet.

Yes. I'm thinking it must have to do with all the new iMacs, ATV's, and iPads that are using the site. IF....that is the case it should settle down by mid to end of next week. I had a problem last night when I set up my new iMac. When I went to the Apple Store looking for a track pad, I would get the main store page; bring up the page from the search; but clicking on a "buy" button would only bring up a blank page. I tried 3x with the same result and didn't stick around to wait to see if it might eventually come up. But I had no problem on other sites, so assume it was the Apple Store. It also took a long time for my iMessages to load.

See that’s the thing. It’s been doing this for several weeks :-(

Yes, slow for weeks now. Often can't even load the app store, or my movies, or my books, and definitely not my account info. It's making family sharing nearly impossible to use, downloading new apps is very tedious, etc etc.

How can this be weeks old and still not getting some kind of resolution? I'm also surprised this hasn't shown up as an article on the main page.

My internet is perfectly fine. My household has a dozen+ Apple devices in active use of varying ages. They all suffer from this (i.e. none has a proper fast app store etc).

Yeah at first I thought it was my internet. Thank god it is not.

I just got my M1 iMac set up and, maybe it's just my imagination, but updating any given app via the App Store seems to be painfully slow! I remember when I would click on update for an app and the progress would be fairly quick. Now, the update process on any given app is slow as molasses.

I am surprised this is not a article on Macrumors. Bet it will be sooner or later.

Experiencing extremely slow app store again this morning doing several updates. Updates that, in the past, would have taken maybe a minute are now taking several (like 5-10) minutes. It's ridiculous! I agree with @max2 that this should be an article on MR.

PS: I called Apple Support and they had no clue why it's so slow. At their suggestion I submitted feedback via www.apple.com/feedback and suggest others do likewise.

Were any of you able to solve this? My App updates from the App Store have become extremely slow since yesterday on iPads and on iPhones. My network is working well for everything else. I tried restarting. I changed the DNS servers just in case, but with no success...
