I have a Mid 2014 MacBook Retina. Since the upgrade fast user switching and logging in hangs for longer than normal after typing password.

I have done a clean install and made zero difference?

I'm having the same issue, running a 2017 MacBook.

It takes between 17 and 23 seconds to switch a user. This is much longer than it took on Mojave. It doesn't seem to make any difference if the user was previously running or logged out.

Same problem here on a 2015 4K iMac.

I've had this problem in previous versions of macOS, but it got fixed with an update. Now the issue is back with Catalina.
