I have a news 2011 Mac Mini Server. I replaced one of the stock 500gb drives with a WD 1 TB drive. Trying to copy large files between the drives is incredibly slow. It took over 4 minutes to copy a 4gb file.. that seems very slow for internal to internal drive copying.. anyone experience similar?

therfore i have 2 ssd's inside ..

And one apostrophe too many.

But even 2.5" S-ATA HDDs with 5.400 RPM can sustain 75MB/s write and read speeds, thus copying 4GB of data should only take a minute.

Or was you comment meant as helpful reply to the OP, a hint to get SSDs instead of using old HDDs, which can store 1TB (and that for less than 125 USD)?
