Slow Finder on 13'' MacBook Pro Late 2016

I have been noticing that finder is getting very unresponsive and laggy whenever you open files and the beach ball never stops rolling until I only have to force quit or relaunch finder. Does anyone have the same issue ?

I have a 2013 macbook pro. My finder doesn't hang forever, but lots more spinning beach balls and taking longer for files to open.
