Slow iphone sync

Well, for some reason it now seems that my iphone syncs really slowly with itunes. It used to do it it so quickly and I haven't really increased whats on the iphone by very much.
It seems to wait forever on syncing contacts, then hangs again on syncing calender. Once past that stage it moves files and photos across fine!
I'm tried deleting the crash log but that has made no difference at all.

Any ideas people?

Hello everyone....

I too am having a slow sync with my iphone. I plug it in and press sync it takes close to a minute before sync begins. I know that this is probably nothing and I'm being stupid, but i was wondering if there might be something wrong.

Well I managed to fix the problem!!!
On Itunes i hit the restore factory settings on Iphone. It reinstalled the OS and re-synced from scratch. Not having the problems any more....much happier.
