When I'm syncing content to my Apple TV, my Mighty Mouse scrolls like it's in slow motion. Though I can't confirm this, I'm fairly certain it happened once I updated to iTunes 8. I never noticed any problems until iTunes 8. I can use the trackpad on my MBP just fine, it's only the Mighty Mouse that's slow. Any ideas on what might be the problem or a fix?

I went ahead and changed the battery in the MM and the problem persists.

I actually have the same problem, but i have a Microsoft wireless laser mouse 6000....it tracks really slow when Apple TV is syncing, it's really annoying.

I've had this happen with bluetooth mice any time lots of data is transferred over Wifi. Wifi and Bluetooth both use the same frequencies and if they interfere with each other, they have to take turns. Try changing the wireless channel on your router.

Yep, happens with iTunes downloads and iTV syncs, so maybe it is "any" large wireless transfer.

FYI, I'm using a wireless Logitech mouse.

I'll try changing channels.

Thanks!
