According to iPhone 6 NAND benchmarks 4k random writes are only 1.5 MB/s. That's very slow. Solid state drives usually achieve 20-30 times the speed in the same test. Is there a reason why phone NAND can't be as fast? Is it a controller issue?
Random writes don't really matter for a phone. Read speeds and write speeds will make the big difference for real world performance; both of which are comparatively high for the IP6.
To answer your question, I don't know. But I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
