Slow OWC Mercury Extreme SSD Pro?

I tested the speed of my drives with Black Magic SpeedTest
OWC SSD 240GB:

Internal Harddrive Seagate 3TB:

Is this test accurate?
Although the results of my SSD are worse than these of the harddisk, the SSD disk boots faster.
Would reinitialize the SSD improve the results?
Here are the results from my new Accelsior 480GB SSD. Read speeds are here also below these promised on OWC's website, but I can live with that.

I erased the OWC Mercury SSD but it didn't help. Read and write speeds are still slower than a conventional hard drive, according to BlackMagic Disk SpeedTest.
Would Trim Enabler help?

TRIM won't help reads.

Those read and write speeds are very poor for a SSD. How is the OWC SSD attached?

This SSD performed better in the beginning, I guess. It worked well when I bought it 3 years ago. It starts up fast. It is installed with an Icy Dock in the 4th drive bay of my Mac Pro. (Sata II)
When running XBench, I get the same results as in the beginning:

I did some real world tests: I copied a 36 GB File
to the 3TB hard disk: 8 min
to the OWC Mercury Extreme SSD: 4 min
to the Accelsior SSD: 3 min
Therefore, in real world tests the OWC Extreme SSD doesn't perform that bad.
It boots very fast too. But the Black Magic Disk Speed Test results are bad.
I wonder whether they are accurate and reliable...

No, it's not accurate as explained here. Blackmagic test is quite meaningless for Sandforce-based SSDs, and Xbench is a better one as you already found out.

UP for this post.

I tough my SSD was bad, but with Xbench it is okay performance with SATA 2 that i have with my mac pro.

I'll check if i can put a pci card with sata 3 and if it worth the shot, but 160 is okay for me
