Slow searching in iPod app?

Does anyone else experience slow searching in the iPod app? I have to wait several seconds before results start to pop up. Normally this wouldn't bother me but it seems very un-Apple, especially since results appear immediately when searching from the 'search screen'.

I sort of wish they had implemented a similar live search in the iPod app.

I think I know what you mean, like results don't start to appear immediately or until you hit the search button? As opposed to on an iPod or iTunes results start to pop up after the first 2 or 3 letters, I'm also surprised by how this was applied. Maybe a "fix" in a future update is already on the way.

I did notice that when you try it on the search home screen, it's quicker as compared to searching on the iPod app.

Well, I hit the search button and it takes a second or two before the results are populated.

Is this normal?
